Arlene Obmerga-van Vegchel, co-owner and editor at WellEdited is a mom to a 2 and a half year old and a 1 year old. Even though she co-owns a business, she still makes it a priority to make healthy meals for her family.
Her toddler’s favorite meal is spaghetti bolognese. Although spaghetti doesn’t call for vegetables, Arlene adds pureed carrots and minced zucchini and uses whole wheat pasta to add some more nutrients for her growing toddler. This healthy meal takes less than 45 mins to cook; just the perfect time for a toddler to nap before lunch!
